I'm very disappointed in Motorola's lack of responsibility for a clear design flaw, and will not likely purchase another Motorola phone. Unfortunately, the central button (which is used for EVERYTHING) came unglued several times and was recently lost for good on a run. I've had my phone for several months. The camera on this phone was excellent, and I generally had no problems with the sound quality or reception. The warranty will not cover a replacement or repair, so I'm left to choose whether I want to deal with a sticky, broken, hard-to-use phone, improvise a DIY duct tape/aluminum fix, or shell out money for a brand new cell.
Its not a SRL camera, its a damn phone. Blame yourself that the phone isn't durable, its not a rock that you can drop and reuse. This is the phone recommended for you. Well, guess what. Ask yourself how you treat the phone and is it suppose to be durable after all that.Every specific details about the phone is written down. If you think the hone 2 megapixel camera suck, then guess what. But if you want a phone that can take decent pictures like a phone with 5 megapixel, this isn't the phone for you.Cons:-Music player has poor UI-Phone reception isn't that great in buildingsPros:-Expandable mini micro memory card-Phone can hold up to 4 gb of memory-Can be charged from computer-A light-on feature that you can turn on while taking a picture-Slim, sleek, solid feel phone-No dust protection, somehow there's dust inside the screen of the phone (maybe that was my fault. Its really insulting that those "people" blame the phone for not being durable.
I have been using this phone for 2 years and its still in good condition with a bit of wear. Its only 2 megapixel. This product Motorola RIZR Z3 may not be the best phone with the most features, but if you want a everyday phone to call people with. don't know)-2 megapixel camera (not the greatest but does it job)Its been roughly two years since I've been using this phone and I read a lot of reviews saying this phone break after a few weeks. So next time when you write a review saying the phone suck, it break too easily.
Well, six months into the second one, I had the same issue w/ the select button. I gave Motorola a try, but I'll definitely be switching brands after this. Then, about 3 months after that, the entire larger circle that contains the up/down/left/right arrows fell off. But, as time goes on, this phone really wears out - and fast. I also have to mention in here that the lack of a date on the main screen is a huge downfall of this phone.
The music player is fun, and the camera takes good pictures (the flash is a helpful feature). The power button was a warranty issue, so I had to pay $10 (S&H) and got a new phone. This is a well known defect with this phone, as I learned when I went into the T-Mobile store, but it is not covered under warranty. There is also a ridiculous lag during texting and sometimes during navigating. I'm glad I waited awhile to write this review, because when I first got this phone, I loved it (I should note that I'm already on my second one as the first one stopped working, and was covered under warranty).
The power/end call button stopped working altogether on my first one, and the select (circle) button fell off. The phone is now very difficult to use as I must use my nail and press in one exact spot to navigate anywhere on the phone.
I think this phone shouldn't even be given away for free. The front scroll dial fell off then I had to cut pieces of the send and end buttons to keep from my face being cut by the metal when I was talking on it Then it started calling ppl at random, dropping every phone call I made, and receiving text messages over and over again. Me and my husband both got this phone at the same time for an upgrade. I admit it was easy to use and program, but my phone didn't even last month til it was falling apart. My husband who doesn't use his phone nearly as much as I do, screen is half blacked out and now his screen is cracking.
First the push bar went, then the center circle buttons, then the clear button broke, and now it is possessed it dials 6's without touching the phone, and oh yea it goes to the internet without pressing that button too. I did like this phone when I first got it, but then a year later it started to fall apart. So it is a nice phone if you plan on having it only for a year, but that's about it.
